I was invited to play a sound bath for New Forms Festival and Lobe Studio’s ‘Sound Space’ programming. I’m especially excited as this will be my first time working with a 4DSOUND System.

Our stacked, minimal and maximal festival begins Wednesday, December 14 with a live performance by A Space for Sound (Rena Anakwe) and a spatial sound piece realized through a collaboration between Asa Tone and Yu Su. Anakwe is joining us from New York and we can't wait to hear her work mediated by 4DSOUND!⁠

Opening the evening will be a special audiovisual installation by Asa Tone, spatially arranged in 4DSOUND by Yu Su. Following this, A Space for Sound will take us through a restorative sound bath through deep, facilitated listening. Her piece morphs into a live session with tank drums, synth, voice and looping to bring us towards a moment for quiet reflection. ⁠
