Participating in a conversation between Jonathan González and Mario Gooden in support of Jonathan González’s SPECTRAL DANCES at The American Academy of Arts and Letters.
Spectral Dances is an improvisational work by choreographer Jonathan González that asks its cast to respond to unseen aspects of Arts and Letters. Following the performance of Spectral Dances, González will join architect and educator Mario Gooden for a conversation about the spectral qualities of the past that exist inside the built environment and how these traces become part of choreographic practice.
Seating for this event is limited and reservations are required. A reception will follow.
